HARTVALE GARDENS
Hartvale Gardens is nestled on five gently undulating acres at the base of Mount York. The property has stunning valley and escarpment views to Mount Clarence. Predominantly a cottage garden filled with lavender, penstemons, salvias, roses and dahlias, the grounds also feature a Potager garden, cute hothouse, kitchen garden area, holiday cottage and art studio. Designed by a builder and an artist/counsellor, Hartvale Gardens are all about vivid splashes of colour, wide open spaces and ... joy! Hartvale is at its best in Spring and Autumn and is part of the bi-annual Central Tablelands Garden Trail.

We visited this beautiful garden. It was such a delightful garden to wander in and is a real credit to its creators. You can definitely see the artist hand at work in the placement of the plants and how the gardens relate to the buildings. Another highlight was the fantastic artwork. The garden looks so established and is definitely worth a visit.
