SPECIAL EVENT - PLEIN AIR PAINTING

CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
Your invitation to connect with a vibrant living canvas to create something truly unique...
HARTVALE – THE 'PAINT-BOX GARDEN'
When spring reaches its breath-taking peak, Hartvale Gardens & Kanimbla Park, both located in the beautiful Seven Valleys area west of Sydney, explode into a magnificent palette of vibrant flowers & rich textures, offering an absolute paradise for oil painters, water colourists, photographers & art groups alike.
Hartvale Gardens, rural buildings and views have already captured the national spotlight having been featured on Gardening Australia & Better Homes & Gardens TV shows. The co-owner of Hartvale, Jennifer Edwards is an oil painter who, as a gardener, treats the property as her canvas - filling the garden with poppies of all kinds dotted amongst cottage garden favourites to create an abundance of colour, light & movement for artists to capture. With sweeping, dramatic views of the surrounding valley and mountain vistas, artists are able to track the shifting dynamics of natural light throughout the day culminating in the
wonderful amber glow of late afternoon.
PAINT THE ESCARPMENT & SCULPURES IN THE GARDENS OF KANIMBLA PARK
At Kanimbla Park, owned by Gang Gang Gallery owner Sharon and Husband Ross Howard, artists are invited to step into a place where creativity comes naturally.
Nestled against the breath-taking backdrop of the Blackheath escarpment, this private garden is opening its gates to artists, painters and creative groups looking for a peaceful day of inspiration. Wander through beautifully established gardens filled with sculptures, unusual objects, hidden corners and ever-changing light. Every path offers a new composition, every view a different perspective. Whether you enjoy painting landscapes, botanical studies, sculpture, mixed media or simply sketching in a beautiful setting,
you’ll find endless inspiration throughout the property.
Gather your easel, paints or sketchbook and spend the day immersed in nature, surrounded by magnificent views, birdsong and fresh mountain air. There is plenty of space to spread out, work at your own pace and share the experience with fellow artists.
Whether you are looking to inspire a class of students or spend a relaxing day with yourself painting plein air in a truly inspiring location, the acreage properties of Hartvale Gardens & Kanimbla Park in springtime are the locations you've been searching for.
