We felt so privileged to be the first visitors to stay at the beautiful Hartvale Cottage. The cottage combines charm, warmth and luxury. It has been lovingly designed and decorated throughout and we appreciated Jen's many personal artworks adorning the walls. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the cottage with the resident kangaroos and magpies. It was bliss just sitting, tea in hand, gazing out out the magnificent windows that framed the spectacular views and gardens. For us, who were craving much needed time together, away from the worries and stress of life, it was the perfect getaway. Thank you Jen and Pete for your wonderful hospitality and a memorable and relaxing weekend.

We had a wonderfully peaceful, winter getaway at Hartvale Cottage. The cottage is gorgeous - a combination of Pete’s building design and skills and Jen’s artistic decorating style. We just loved looking out the huge picture window at the valley with the backdrop of the mountains, whilst keeping beautifully warm in front of the slow combustion wood fire. So many things to love about this cottage: wine on the back verandah watching the sunset, coffee on the front verandah watching the ducks in and out of the dam, the very comfy king-size bed, the makings of a cooked breakfast, a wander through the magnificent gardens and Jen’s artwork on the walls. We felt very spoilt and will definitely recommend Hartvale Cottage to our friends.
